On behalf of our Urenui Pā Trustees, we’re excited to announce the details of an upcoming wānanga that includes a hikoi (tour) of the special places of significance for us as Ngāti Mutunga. The hikoi will include in-depth korero around our Pā, and visits to our wāhi tapu. We’ll also take some time to talk about what we’d like to see happen at the Pā. This kōrero will help guide the trustees to make decisions on how best to protect and care for our beloved Pā.
It’s also a great chance for whānau to come together and connect with one another!!
