Te Matatini o Te Kāhui Maunga

Te Matatini o Te Kāhui Maunga was a significant kaupapa, and we were privileged to attend and actively participate in this magnificent event.

The Ngāti Mutunga stall was a tremendous success. We were fortunate to have been allocated a prime location, which provided ample space for our whānau to come and go, set up a base for the children, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere under the shade. This space also fostered an opportunity for whānau to connect, share kōrero, and catch up with one another.

The merchandise sold exceptionally well, with many whānau, including those from outside the region, taking the opportunity to purchase items not only for themselves but also for family members at home.

Sales of merchandise continue, there are two options for purchases, either call into Ehoa Clothing on McLean Street in Waitara and see Natale, she will happily get you sorted or alternatively you can order online at https://www.ehoa.nz/collections/ngati-mutunga-te-kakahu stock is limited!!

To all the kaimahi that made this kaupapa the amazing success it was, thank you!

A huge shout out to all the teams that performed, especially our very own Ngā Purapura o te Tai Hauauru. Congratulations to Aroha Broughton Pue for winning the Manukura Wāhine.
