Tēnā koutou e te whānau o Ngāti Mutunga

DATE CHANGE: From 15 June to 22 June

We are looking forward to our next wānanga on the 22 June 2024. We will continue our whaikōrero wānanga run by Ngāti Mutunga over the next 3 months for those who would like to learn more about speaking on the paepae. The aim of these wānanga is to build confidence among our tāne to uphold the roles of kaikōrero and kaikarakia. The wānanga sessions will be designed for beginners and will provide tāne with at least 1 simple whaikōrero, 1 easy waiata and 1 basic karakia. Each wānanga session will run for 3 hours and will have an element of learning, recitation and practice. If you would like to support our paepae at Urenui pā, then we would encourage you attend these sessions.

We ask that all whānau interested to register, so that we can gauge numbers for catering and venue purposes, we will send a panui out to those that confirmed attending a week prior to confirm venue. please find wānanga dates for 2024 below.
