As part of our responsibility Ngā iwi o Taranaki decided to move the event to November 2022. This decision was based on the desire to ensure the safety of our w’anau during this uncertain time.
With the COVID outbreak mitigated, we are pleased to announce that new dates have been confirmed and Ngāti Ruanui are proud to host Taranaki Tu Mai 2022.
The Pōw’iri will be held at Taiporo’enui Marae, O’angai Road, ‘Awera.
The sports will be held in ‘Awera on Friday 4th November and Saturday 5th November 2022.
Kapa ‘aka will be on Sunday 6th November.
