COVID-19 Guidance

NGĀ IWI O TARANAKI RESPONSE UNIT

Ngā Iwi O Taranaki COVID-19 response team is working together to provide awhi and aroha to our people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ngā Iwi o Taranaki(NIOT) are basing its COVID-19 isolation and Care in the Community (CIC) outreach programme on Tauawhi, which will be delivered in North and South Taranaki by Māori health providers supported by iwi organization’s.

Having COVID-19 in our community can be stressful and overwhelming. Take time now to prepare, so if your whanau gets māuiui, you know what to do, can help contain the spread of the virus, and give yourself and your whānau the best possible chance to get through this next phase of the pandemic in Taranaki

The link below is a handbook designed to capture everything you need to safely navigate your whānau through a community COVID-19 outbreak.
