My study will benefit the people of Ngāti Mutunga, as I intend to stay in Taranaki to nurse. My goal is to help to address the underlying factors that affect Māori hauroa and inequalities in New Zealand. Ngāti Mutunga mission is to facilitate growth and development of our people and culture, by becoming a nurse my mission is to be able help our people make educated decisions on their health and enable them to access health care and ensure their needs are met.
